Ed, I don't remember you showing off that bad boy! I love the CNC work on the wood.I picked up one of those in 2021 for $20. I nerded out making new wood for the trays.

It was a lot of fun, and a great learning experience! I've got well over a half dozen working grills (don't tell my wife!) and the pizza oven so that project has languished.

Well, first I bought a Silver C, then a week later this one popped up.
It spent most of its life indoors and was little used. It's been my daily driver (along with the BGE and the OTP and the MM pellet grill). The G4 came along a year or so later. The early burgundy color is more pinkish in comparison and I really like the graphics on the lids of the Platinum Series, and durawood, while not much in the looks dept., is much more suitable for living outdoors. The later burgundy color seems to change color with the lighting, too, I've noticed.

I'm a smooth talker, the lid is not the original, the date code on the lid doesn't match the 5 pound tank, it's a 1995.
This thing is in remarkable condition.
I think I'll flip it, or, I will trade it for some Weber goodies
