Curb Alert !!!

I have seen lots of grease. Never seen it that jagged. Sadly, someone else is getting it. So we will never truly know, but I’m 100% sure that lid is toast, by our standards.

That being said, it’s probably got a great grease tray and cookbox. It always seems if one part is bad, a few others are great.

Oh man, the last one I picked up was pretty bad but the lid was perfect. Go figure. I had to scrap the frame, big drip tray, cook box, and control panel. I also reused the 9mm Summit grates and the durawood.

Ok, if I grabbed that grill it would just be for the challenge of quickly and cheaply making it brand new again and selling it. I may be able to motivate myself based on that if it's still available by tomorrow afternoon or Sunday. I'll watch it.

Genesis 1000-5000 grills in our part of the country are just a numbers game now. You will probably need at least two grills now to make one really good one based on their age and condition at this point. I'm always on the lookout for that special one that is already in great shape to begin with but it's getting harder every day to find one like that.
