Curb Alert !!!


 
I missed this one this morning.... Looks(ed) like a decent Q320/3200 --- I was getting excited to get my first Q...... I got there 40 minutes after it was posted and it was already gone :( Just the crappy chair and dresser left.
I should have known better ---- but I thought 'its 10 in the morning - maybe I'll get lucky....'.

Yah, I would rather they just sell them for $10 so you make the deal and have them hold it for you. Sometimes, I will contact them and tell them I will give $10 or $20 for them to pull it off the curb and hold it for me while I come get it.
 
LIds from almost any Genesis 1000-5000, 1-5, Silver B/C grill between 1985 and 2006 will fit that grill. Lots to choose from. Green is fairly common but Blue is less common. I rehabbed 1 Blue lid Silver B and 7 Green lid Silver B's this year. All of those would have fit your grill.

Lid color is cyclical in my neck of the woods, it seems. I went 2 seasons without a red and now I’ve got them coming out my ears lately. I do get an occasional green coming through the queue, but I’ve been without a blue for at least 18 months…unless you count the 2 burner blue lid I’m about ready to throw away. I can’t believe that nobody in my local area wants an unblemished freebie blue lid but I’ve tried to find it a new home for months now.
