Hello all,
I need to clean the outside of the dome on both my kettle and wsm. Are there any tips or tricks you can help me with? Are there any types of solvents to avoid?
I've tried the soap and water recommendation but it didn't touch it.
Any help is very much appreciated!

I don’t claim to be a Doctor but I use windex on about everything.
I will use it on cutting boards, food saver gaskets, bbq’s and the occasional insect that bothers me.

One thing nice about Windex is that it dissipates because it is ammonia based.
It does a good cutting gunk & grime, doing basic cleaning and then after a bit it magically goes away much like chlorinated water.

409 Ive also used easy off bbq grill edition to clean up the vents after they start getting hard to adjust due to build up under them

Just make sure its damp on one side and dry where your hand is.
Totally wet cloth transfers heat almost immediately, good way to burn your hand.
I usually wear a insulated glove when doing that JIC.
