I used to do a St. Patrick’s day feast for my parish but, it came down to myself, my wife, my sister in law and one parishioner (for 2 years) after twenty years of me spending a week after my day job hauling things out and setting things up, shopping, curing the beeves, then two days cleaning things up. I finally retired from that one. The saddest part was I had offered to teach anyone how it worked and how to do it without having a heart attack and there were NO takers! Now they get a bucket of chicken! It really makes me sad.
Truthfully, it was fun for a long time but, I tip my hat to you Kemper, you obviously love your church.
