Chilly chicken taco cook!

Howdy folks!!! Figured it was time to get some Weber time in tonight! We are goin to try some chicken tacos/fajitas/whatever you want to call it I suppose!!!

Started with some chicken breasts soaked in beer, lemon, carne asada seasoning for about 12 hours! Fired up the green grilling machine and it started out like this.

But not too cold to admire my new toy I got this week! Think I need to find me a Weber mini banner to hang from the light pole!

Ok so we are cooking... Indirect with some hickory smoke!

Chicken got some sear and started some peppers and onion!

Tortillas on as well!

Was real good!! Chicken didn't pull as much flavor from the soak as I though but it was still tasty! Might do chicken thighs next time... Breasts just don't seem to cut it any more!

You're killing me, Morgan!!!! I don't know what I'm more jealous of……that meal or that boat!! I could easily eat a plate or three of that grub. And the boat is just gorgeous. Can't wait to see the halibut and salmon you pull in. Oh yeah, and some of those big ol' spot prawns!!!

Nice boat and great looking food! What do you plan on doing with the boat? Fishing mainly or leisure? Looks to be a big ole thing! Perfect for the sea for sure!
 
Morgan, that one looks like it's right in your wheel house! What does carne alsada consist of? GREAT looking new toy:) looks heavy duty enough to hall a slab off the bottom. Great looking meal my friend, we love Mexican or Tex-Mex.
 
It would kill me if I bought a boat this time of year and had to look at it all winter. Great looking whatever's you cooked up.

I totally agree Bob.... Just a couple days has been killer already! Gives me all winter long to set up gear and things so I will be ready spring!(which may be really early for me next year cold or not!)

Love your tacos, Morgan. Is the rice made from scratch? Certainly looks like it.

Oh, and (hope this doesn't get me beat up....) I thought it was cold this morning when I went out for a run and the temps had dipped below 60 overnight!
