Chicken Wing Pizza

It surprised me too.

I was planning on making a popeye pizza (spinach etc), then I thought Spinach & Feta, then I thought get a roasted chicken (I'm gonna do a bbq chicken pizza before long), & then, well..... this happened.

Wings like normal.... over cooked but still juicy like normal (203F)

I sauced with some Franks Red-Hot Hot Wing that I simmered with a little onion, garlic, pepper, & corn starch. I ran out of the sauce so I had to use some straight out of the bottle for the pizza sauce. I used half plain Franks & half homemade ranch. This is 3 pulled chicken wings

This was a very nice surprise! I've never had anything like it.
 
Looks wonderful. BUT wouldn't parchment work better than foil?

I've never bought or used parchment paper....I've been looking around but I'm not really sure what to get or how to buy it.

The oiled foil (olive oil) worked pretty good
 
Looks good! Maybe next time add a few random chunks of blue cheese on top?

I planned on it but the oven door was closed before I realized I forgot. Next time!

I might even try a blue bacon cheeseburger pizza!

I thought about doing a bratwurst pizza with kraut & a mustard "pizza" sauce.
 
Very innovative pizza Clint. Looks absolutely delicious. I have great luck with cornmeal to deal with the transfer from peel to stone. Semolina works well also.

You are an amazing man, Clint. Do you know how many people have anguished over deciding if they want pizza or wings? You have solved life's most difficult choice :)

Clint that looks awesome great idea. Next time try putting corn meal on your peel then your dough it works great. I do that all the time, I even do that when I'm rolling out my dough.

I did! I've made 6 dough balls & have used 5...... the first two were based on your recipe but I sub'd w/ 65% ww flour. Those worked perfectly. I tried another dough recipe (made 4 balls) and have had difficulty with every single one. I'll figure it out, I just used the foil to ensure success.
 
Great to see you spreading your wings... on pizza that is. Good looking pie and totally different approach.
