Cheeseburgers and Wings

We grilled a pretty good weeknight dinner tonight. I got off at a decent hour and was able to have some fun in the backyard albeit in the dark. Since Im not real interested in the World Series (here comes a comment from Chuck) I was able to cook and bounce back and forth to the game.

Kim seasoned some wings with Johnny's Seasoned Salt

Grilled them with one chimney of charcoal.

When you see pictures of people making wings it looks easy but for me its one of the hardest things to grill. You have to pay attention to 25-30 pieces of meat, move them to the hot and cold spots and sauce all of them. But the results are worth it.

Here sauced, half with Franks and half with SWB's

Meanwhile Kim made some hamburger patties and I grilled them. I forgot to get a shot of melting the cheese on the burgers.

And a nice little Tuesday night grilled dinner. If you haven't tried the Blue Moon White IPA I highly recommend it!

Really good dinner. Thanks for looking and have a great rest of the week!

That's a great week night dinner you cooked.
Best of all.... it was made at home & you didn't have to go anywhere.

At least you got to bounce back & forth to/fro the grill, I had nowhere to go during that outing...dang coach left his struggling starter in too long and cost his team the game...Reminds me of another coach, can't think of his name, I think they wear blue...It'll come to me :)

Killer wings Robert (and Kim) and the burgers are spot on and the Blue Moon is the icing on the cake! My kind of dinner right there, you nailed it!

Wow Robert, what a combo. Looks delicious. I'm kind of apathetic towards this series also, but respect them both for getting there. Would watch if I had the time.

That's a heckuva weeknight spread for just 2 people...I'll bet the leftovers were just as good!

Thanks Brad! The meal was actually for 5 people. We have three children. One didn't want a cheeseburger. Not to say Kim and I wouldn't give all that food a good try...
