Carne Asada Tacos

We keep hearing about this meat market in a town we go thru to go camping that suppose to have some of the best carne asada around, and their beef is suppose to be real good in general. We stopped one the way to our camping spot and I just picked up a 2 inch ribeye to grill up the first night out. Wow was it good, very flavorful and very tender!!! Didn't take any pics so I guess you will have to take my word on it.

Anyway we stopped on the way home and I picked up 2 lbs of carne asada and a marinated tri tip. Tri tip is gonna be dinner for tomorrow.

Grilled up the carne asada tonight, direct

This was some of the best carne asada I have ever had. They ship all over the US too if anyone is interested, even tri tips for you guys that can't get them in your area. The place is called Rameys Meats
760 334 4420 and they are in Brawley CA

Nice cook John.
I wonder if that's the same meat market my brother in law gets his meats. There's a cut that's called ajujas that's great and he said it's only available in Brawley.

John I've been telling you this for years...cannot believe it took this long to see Ramey's on the site (except for mine)...they got some killer chicken and Tri tips too buddy...oh and they sell there seasoning as well!!

Nice work ...man I'm hungry now!!

Ramey's went thru some crazy stuff couple years back losing a lot of gear to a big earthquake...glad to see em up and running!!

Nice buddy...I'm missing it...

Those look good John! Never tried or heard of rameys, will have to stop there next time I'm in the valley. Have you ever tried Kennedy's? It's in El Centro, and Ramona. Really good as well.

I have seen the sign on the freeway but never knew where it was at. We are heading out there in a couple of weeks again, I'll give theirs a try as well.

Beautiful Grillin' John!!
It's AWESOME to find a great meat market!... almost like finding a gold mine!

I heard of a carne asada from Brawley that is suppose to be out-of-this-world. We go through there about 10 a year going to glamis. I may just have to check it out.
