Home alone with only Brooke the Labrador.
I sat on the deck sipping bourbon, and getting wanderlust from reading 'Blue Highways' by William Least Heat-Moon.
It got dark, better get my dinner going.

One of my best burgers ever, and butterkase is the bomb on a burger!
I found it at Costco for $4.99/lb.

Darn it Bob!!!!! I just finished putting some salt & pepper on a 4 pound chuck roast, getting it ready to do Pepper Stout Beef and you're making me want to change my mind. This isn't fair at all! Costco is only two miles away too. Next time no photos okay? :)

Bob - great timing! I will be at Costco tomorrow and will look for the butterkase. Burger looks excellent and will be on the Sunday menu for sure. Even the bun looks perfect!
 
Bob, that is one mighty appetizing looking meal. The photo's look awesome also. That should be proof, bourbon makes great cooking fluid. What's your poison? Maybe I need to switch brands to produce great looking cooks like that! I luvs me some burgers and taters! :D

Great cook, amazing pictures! How did you light the pics of the burger on the grill? It doesn't look like a flash.
 
Bob your pictures amaze me! I can see my self now! Cold drink, great setting, dog laying by my side, maybe some Greatfull Dead and a good cigar!
