Butt-Rubbed Chops

been seeing a lot of these guys around lately...
they must like the tropical temperatures we've been enjoyi, aaah... I mean having.

anyway, they don't bother me, I don't bother them... Live & let Live.
speaking of living...
brined a coupla nice thick pork loin chops then seasoned them with Kevin's A Butt Rub (for Jane)

seared a while...

then off to the side until a nice 140º internal temp. Baby Yukons were roasted also....

Maddie remembers Niner and how he loved to lay on the floor of the PV while the cook was happening...

a short time later, everything was groovy and served up. Fresh garden beans were super good!

the pork was GREAT! Thanks to Kevin's rub, this stuff is OUTSTANDING!
Gonna use it again this weekend on a coupla butts.

Looking good as always with those monster chops..I wonder why they do t sell chops like that at my store....

What did you sprinkle on top of your plate of food?
 
You just can't beat pork chops,and those look great!
Going to have to try that rub.
To hot for me to smoke or grill.It's 98° now! When you get older you can't take the heat like you use to. You got a long way to go yet Jim.
