Hi Chuck,
Dang, I'm missing all the local places on Triple-D!
Hadn't even heard of the Roadhouse, but just checked out their site, and menu.
It's not too far from here, and I need to try them out.
I could go for a good bowl of red beans and rice right now!

Never heard of it, but looked it up, and it sounds like a place to check out.
Looks kind of upscale for triple D.
I like the fact that they use local food.
They are repeating the show, so I'll record it.

Now, last night on triple D they covered a restaurant called Dressel"s Public House. That looked excellent also. You sure have some great places to take the wife to!
Does that restaurant sound familiar? Did I spell that right?(familiar)?? I wish thay had spell check on this messages page! I need it.LOL

Hi Chuck,
I've heard of the Shaved Duck, but never eaten there.
Guess I missed that episode of triple D, and will have to watch for it.

Just looked it up, didn't even know that it's a bbq place.
On the map I see that it's only a couple of blocks from where we first lived after moving to St Louis, from SE Missouri, in 1961.
But it wasn't there way back then.
