After a couple of good recommendations from the good people here, I decided to pickup the Stok CI grate system with a Wok insert. For my first cook I decided to do burgers with ground been and hot Italian sausage mixed together. I took the sausage out of it's casing

I decided to use the old performer today....the one without the gas assist
[/IMG]
Burgers on direct and buns toasting

On the first turn.....these are the grate marks I was hoping to get with CI
[/IMG]
Seared on both sides, moved to indirect and inserted the wok insert
[/IMG]
Using the wok to melt the cheese, added a little water and covered
[/IMG]
Cheese is melted....ready for eating
[/IMG]
Topped with a little cilantro

The cheese was pepper jack and I topped them off with an aioli mustard....who's ready for a burger?

The flavor profile of these burgers was excellent and I will be doing the sausage ground beef mix often
Thanks everyone for looking and I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
