Dear Everyone - I did my first cook with my adorable 14.5 WSM who I have named R2D2 (and I know I am not the first, but I could not help myself).
I did a Harry Soo rib recipe I love that I have done on my kettle before.
The night before, I did a hot fast burn off of the smoker on the right, while on the left my Smokey Joe gets ready for some steak and vegetable deliciousness.

I set up the tin can Minion method, even though I was doing a shorter faster cook. I wanted to try it since I haven't done it with the tin can before, and I figured my smoker might run a little hot as it is new.

Here's R2D2, smoking away, while also checking for Imperial Drones scouting the area -

There was an interesting amount of time where my Maverick on the bottom grate had a lower temp than my dome thermometer, but then they all synched up perfect for my faster cooking ribs where I was shooting for 275 - I had to take a picture -

I did two racks of ribs, cut them in half, here's the top rack.

All done, ready to be carved up.

Dinnah!!

The ribs were delicious. I am officially in love with my WSM! I look forward to many more cooks in the future!

Thanks for all your support, advice, wisdom and help. Much appreciated!
