I used Bob's "Bacon Made Easy" recipe to make bacon for my first time. I was very happy with the results. My brother-in-law thought it was a tad bit too salty, but I didn't. We did leave it for 10 days so that we could cook it on a Saturday. That could have made it more salty, I suppose.

Anyway, thanks to Bob for the recipe and all who offered advice. I will definitely be doing more bacon. It's fun, easy and tastes awesome.

Man that looks really good, nice job! I've got to find some pork belly and just do it, looks like a 200+mile round trip drive to Phoenix.
 
mine is on the homestretch.. one more day in the cure and then one day unwrapped and then SMOKE Time...
