One of my favorites, & you can tell that I didn't make them but these might be better than mine.......

This is one of my favorites...blue/bacon/burger, heavy on the ketchup! (and hot sauce)

You can see the smoke rolling (leftover from last nights wings)----whiskey wood chips in a mo's smoking pouch under the grate

Is that a jalapeño pepper and cheese bagel? , burgers done right.

You know it! I'll use whatever kind looks good (asiago, etc). My mom used to make us tuna sandwiches like that for skiing back when I was a kid (30 years ago!), that's where I got the idea----been doing these for a few years now. I've probably only had a couple dozen

Well now that's a fine looking burger! Recipe?

My only requirement for the blue bacon burger is enough blue cheese to be considered offensive and a lot of ketchup (goes well with the blue & bacon) :)

The first blue bacon burger that left an impression was served to me at a bar several years ago. I was offended :) but strangely intrigued! At first I was pulling some cheese off of it (I wondered if the cook was f'ing with me) but it quickly grew on me.

I'll do 'em up on a CI pan on the stove, it's good with just a regular hamburger bun too. It's one thing I made for the family when visiting them a >1 month ago too - smoked up their house but o'well :)

So the recipe is: hamburger, bun (or bagel!), bacon, a lot more blue cheese than you think (I'd have added more but I usually just do single burgers), and a lot of ketchup.

They're super simple with a very bold flavor.

Clint, that is one awesome burger and I like the idea of the bagel. All the different bun I've tried just fall apart but I'm going to try this. Thanks for sharing that great burger with us.
