usually save chicken for a nice Sunday, yet Friday night was anything but a nice sun day... rain, cold and plain ol miserable
but we cook anyway.

a small under 4 pound bird seasoned inside with homemade 4-3-2-1 and
the outside and under skin with Penzey's Galena Street

...while the coal is starting, thought i'd show y'all my new ride. Downsized a bit from my Silverado and the Sierra...
gotta get my hands ona WSM oval decal...

...and the bird cooks away, about 50 minutes er so at 400ºF

yes, that's the backbone with the neck and a leg assembly... still garden fresh beans & taters.

Like your vortex setup, cool idea. Plate looks great also.
My next door neighbor has a 2020 Colorado and loves it, his last truck was a diesel dually Dodge 2500, he doesn't miss the beast at all.
 
Great lookin Chicken plate! I love my '15 V6 Colorado for work/running around, we also have an '04 2500 Duramax w/ under 60k miles that is our "tow truck".
