Best Meal I’ve made in Years!!

Grilled some Salmon on the 18. Made a Roux & added Celery, Onions, Jalapenos, Green Bell Peppers, Garlic, Bacon, Shrimp, & Chicken Broth. Reduced Sauce. Served Salmon over Rice & mixed Veggies

I love those cajun flavors - I would call it Salmon Sauce Piquante and turn up my Zydeco channel!

My son insists on a batch of Gumbo at least once a month during cold weather.... that first batch is probably coming up pretty soon.

Sorry, I just can't get used to everyone here commenting on the "looks" of everyones cooks. But very few ever mention how those "PRETTY PHOTOS" wound up tasting, which to me is the most important part of a cook.

The Title of the Thread should’ve told you how it tasted. Best Meal I’ve made in years refers to how it tasted
