Beef Sticks. Cajun Style

Trying my hand at beef sticks. I really hat the plunger for the kitchen aid. Messy. But it does work. Did 4lbs of round steak and chuck (fat). Ground and seasoned with a Cajun cure. Plus I added more Cajun spices.

Ok. Now you've really got my attention... My wife's kitchen aid just sits on to of our fridge. Now it looks like I have a reason to use it.. Could you please give some details on how to make these...recipe/blend for the meat and such..as those things look great and I would love to do a venison version. Also, Mathew and cliff, what version of the meat grinder and attachments are you guys using? A quick look on amazon yielded quite a few options.

Awesome looking beef sticks!!! The Kitchen Aide does a great job grinding but using it to stuff, no so much!!
 
Good job, there.
I'd love to start making sausage, but the wife said "NO!" after she caught me looking at the sausage machines at Cabellas.
