Anyone else scared to death right now?


 
Yes, I am every sad and sickened and scared for our nation. We are a family that talks politics and many other tough topics every day and every dinner, and today has been a a day where we are trying to teach our kids the magnitude and seriousness of this. Our democracy must and will endure!
 
I'm embarrassed and sad. And, honestly, afraid. Really trying to avoid politics here and hopefully I'm successful - but we've let the extremes on both sides have far too much breathing room in this country. This (and Portland and other situations like it) are the result. This behavior is not representative of 90+% of our country and I guess it's time us "normal folk" stop tolerating tantrums.

Really, this is stuff that only happened in the movies and in other countries until today. We're better than what the last 9-12 months have shown us to be.

AMEN!! I tried to register as the common sense party, they wouldn’t let me start my own party though. Enough is enough screw the extremists on BOTH sides. What’s right is right and we should govern with common sense and common decency!
 
I’m rather embarrassed by how this appears on the world stage! I’m not scared, I’ve been expecting this kind of thing since the third Monday in November!
It’s a dark day for this great nation, rabble slows the honest work of it’s elected government.

Not scared, just sad. Stupid people will do stupid things and the more we allow it as a nation the more it will happen. We have been allowing riots to happen with out consequences for the past couple years. Not sure why we wouldn't think it would get worse.
 
A sad day really? Come on people wake up. Its been a sad, sad 4 years.
This has all been going on & on for much too long. Yet, people tolerated it.
And this is what it has lead to, You reap what you sow.
 
Oh & by the way wasnt the wall suppose to protect us from all the hoards of mean & bad people?
Well, I guess its not working out to well. LMAO
