Guess that I'll count myself lucky. I bought us a 28" 2 stage blower (green paint, built by B&S,) when we bought this house in 2009. It's started easily every year, still has the original plug in it. Okay, it does only see ethanol free gas. I did have to have a crankcase seal replaced, it took the shop far longer to get the seal than it did to fix it.Warmer winters lately. I maintain snowblowers. Too well. Makes no sense to start them. Then have to redo the whole process.
After grilling at -10 F last night, it got down to -23 here.Conditions here as of this AM. And no I am NOT gonna be grilling

We've had some very strong winds lately and some devastating fires, but fortunately not in our area (last year was our turn for wind-whipped fires...fires all around, but none too close to us.)Wow ! !
