All this talk of garage springs and such... Doesn't anyone grill/bbq/smoke/cook anymore?

All of my grills except for the NG E320 are covered and in hibernation for the winter. What little grilling I do is done on the gasser. Like I've said before with my meds I just can't be in the cold, wish I could, but once I get chilled takes me hours to warm up.

I am doing baby back ribs this weekend for 8 people. Then I have to get ready for bbq turkey day, I heard the birds are going to be more expensive. Possibly around 14 people for that one.(y):)

Rich, sound like it's time to bring back the slow cooker thread. ;)
Yep, been getting slow cooker and instant pot holiday recipes off the net along with others. Keeps me from getting goofy being inside. Problem is that when I see a recipe, I like I have to do a search through my 3500 recipes in Word to make sure I don't already have it and about 50-60% of the time I do have it already.

I cooked 6 salmon burgers on Monday night.

next week I'll get back to cooking. Water heater sprung a leak Friday, flooding my disaster of a garage. No hot water till Monday slowed things down.

Garage door spring broke Sat night.
Ugh, your water heater went out on you too? Did you replace that yourself? If you're brave enough to tackle that garage door spring, a water heater should be a piece of cake. My last water heater sprung a leak too. Luckily there is a drain in the floor of my basement so the water mess wasn't too bad.
