Finished painting the nursery and ready for dinner. I threw on a rib eye for me and salmon for the wife. Some green beans and red potatoes on the side. I still don't have a charcoal grill so using the wsm like a smokey joe. Pecan wood for some smoke.

Picked up some meat

Sorry no cooking pics of salmon. It was done on a gasser. Marinated in honey, soy, brown sugar, garlic, s and p.
Thanks for looking

Enrico, Ive never tried that. I have seen people on the board do it. Maybe next time Ill give it a try. Is that what you do? Good?

I only do that way. I start looking for some good smoke at very low T around 200ish until the IT is 128/130. Then I pat dry and oiled just a little and back over the flames looking for caramelization. 3 minutes (really depends on how much hell is going) per side w/open lid . That's all

use the tools you have, looks like you did just fine!
Great looking dinner! Did you also grill her salmon?

Jim I did grill her salmon but it was on the gasser. She is pregnant and since she got preg she hasn't been a fan of the smoke flavor or red meat. I sure hope she goes back to liking it after the baby comes.

Thanks Tony. The wife is def better with the camera then me
