29 and Holding...............CI Seared Ribeyes

I grilled a couple of Costco ribeyes for our 29th wedding anniversary yesterday.

Two Idaho tubers went on first.

Well dried steaks dusted with Oakridge Santa Maria rub.

Made our salad.

Heated my Wagner while the steaks take on a little hickory smoke.

Then down on top of the char-baskets for a quick sear.

Back up to finish.

Now don't go hatin' on me for no plated pics.
Since it was our anniversary we were, um, well you know, getting a little excited to hurry up dinner so we could, um, well you know.....
Get to our recliners and watch the recorded finale episode of Breaking Bad!

But I will show you this cool coaster picked from the box of apple wood that Jim gave me.

Congratulations – Happy Anniversary. Not everyone can pull off the white Tux – you sir, certainly are fully capable– styling!

What a great post! Well , first , happy anniversary! Good for you guys. I've been married since 72 and I love it!
The steaks look great , as does everything else. I really like that applewood coaster. Very rustic.
Wasnt that Breaking Bad finale something? Wow. Perfect. Just like this post. Great food , great pictures , little humor and that little flashback at the end with the wedding pic. Nice touch.

oh , and that cheddar Mcbob? Killer. :cool:

Bob congrats on the anniversary, the CEO and I are on 33. Like me it looks like you married above your pay grade, beautiful Lady. Lucky Guy. You don't see that many years as much nowadays. What you do see is a classic well done meal every time you post. Excellent meal.
