Some of you were curious about how the ancho chile powder and brown sugar bacon turned out.
Well it's pretty subtle to these old taste buds, but I did go fairly light with the ancho.
The bacon is really good, a little salty, a little sweet, and a little something I can't put my finger on.
This 1/3 slab hand sliced up nicely even without partially freezing first.
It fried up nicely too.
Muenster cheese on the egg, whole grain bread for the toast.
No breakfast for me tomorrow since I go in for an endoscope procedure to check on my ulcer.
That's tough on a big breakfast eater like me!
