10 Years in the Hobby

Facebook popped up some pictures of my first ever attempt at smoking.





Those ribs tasted amazing. I just sold that smoker a few months ago. I was running it off lump charcoal and wood chunks. The guy that bought it is using it for small popups out in west Texas.

Not at all. I was in a an apartment complex where I probably shouldn't have a smoker like that and was way too in love with my new smoker. My wife (my girlfriend at the time) thought I was crazy chaining it like that.

I can appreciate the chain and have had fleeting thoughts about the same thing over the years. With the smoke fire, I really ought to think about it more but I don't have anything to chain it to. Wish someone would design a Club (steering wheel lock) for smokers. I'd pay $39.99 for one.

Congrates Dustin, you sure have mastered the hobby. I really got involved with it when I joined this great forum eight years ago.
Can't think of many hobby's that you get to eat your project at the end of it.
