One of my favorite Jamie Purviance recipes is his Smokey Braised Beef Chili from Smoke. A Sunday brunch dog play day seemed like a good reason to make it.
Mise en place. Everything ready to go!

In go the seared chuck roasts:
Braising time:
Flat Coats are more interested in balls than Chili:
Braising over, the chuck has been shredded and it's time to eat!
I can't wait to have left overs tonight!
