Pretty tasty pizza, they really picked up the oak wood flavor
 
Chuck everything looks fantastic and I'm sure those pizzas were out of sight. They look real yummy!!:D
 
Those pizzas look fantastic :)

If your camera has a manual setting, when the "flames" are prevalent, try decreasing the f/stop by a setting or two. So, if your auto setting tells you f/11 (for example), take the pic at f/8 . You'll get a "burn out" on the flames (because now the flames are over-exposed-which is ok) but the food should show up perfectly.

Your sensor is currently picking up on the flames which are brighter than the food and so the flames look nice but the food is under-exposed. By opening the shutter (f11 to f8), you're over-exposing the flames (ok) but (hopefully as we're guessing at the correct exposure) the food will be exposed correctly. If it's still too dark, open up one more stop.

You can do this while the cook is on (no need to check the pics) and then when you're processing the pics, pick the best one. This is called bracketing (usually means that you take a pic at what you think is the best setting then take one under and one over exposed), the end result being one of them should look much better than the other two.

It's funny, these pictures are the worst I've had (apple i5) I'm pretty sure my settings are as they always have been, but I will check it. I think it's because I had to rush these cooks, and when I say rush, that's pounding more adult beverages in a shorter period of time :)

Chuck, the pizza is killing me it looks so good. My only try at pizza on the grill was an epic failure! Great job.
