Wings on the Vortex, again! This time with sides and dessert!

Those wings look great! I just have one question, what did you and your wife eat after you polished those 10 wings off as an appetizer? :D

    Our weekend smoke session

It's hard enough to find ingredient to make taco's around my neck of the woods, much less a lengua to find and cook myself! I am dying to try some of yours though Tony and Maribel, your Instagram pics make me drool all the time!!!

Smoke Day 11 at the P1Gvilion!

When I got the invite to the party on Facebook I told my wife that if I get another invite to the P1Gvilion next year I'm gonna do everything in my power to make it out. It sure looks like you put on a great party and I bet everyone had lots of fun!!

    Meatball madness

I usually make everything from scratch, but the nutritional info on these wasn't bad at all, and it was easy to cook...so great for a mid week meal.

    T-Bone

OMG this is expensive, we pay $23/kg in Canada at regular price. During the summer when we have sales we can get them for $12-13/kg. One thing I will say, the difference in colour and texture of the fat on that steak to what we get here is incredible. The fat cap on our steaks is almost pure...

    First Spatchcock Chicken

The skin looks fantastic, too bad it wasn't crispy! You can also use corn starch to pull out the moisture from the skin, then just wipe the excess off before you season it. I saw it on an episode of Americas Test Kitchen where they were making the perfect steak.

    Meatball madness

Folks, it's been a while since I've posted on TVWBB. I bought a gasser in the fall and I have to admit, grudgingly, that I didn't use my charcoal grill all winter :( The weather was brutal in my neck of the woods this winter, but spring finally started blooming a few weeks ago and I knew I had...

    Roasted Tomato Soup

Awesome looking soup, I'm going to have to try that. I make all my own stocks as well, I hate the idea of not using the whole animal/plant.

Things have really changed since 2006 Clint, it's allot easier to maintain, I spend about 20 minutes during the week and 30 minutes on the weekend doing maintenance. If you ever want some advice reach out to me, I'm pretty far away but I can brainstorm with you online and I actually have...

Some of you long time viewers know that my daughter, Lauryn, is a BBQ Jedi in training. She loves to help out with cooks and will be out with me at 5am putting food on the smoker with a smile on her face. When I asked her what she wanted for her sweet 16 party she had a list already. Pulled...

What to do for Labor Day weekend, and my 400th post....

Congrats on your 400th, I did brisket for an anniversary cook too! Funny about the knife, I busted out my Japanese blade today to slice some short rib meat to make Korean BBQ short ribs and I ended up taking pics of it too since I love it so much...

I say chicken - you say WINGS.

My buddy from Thailand came over the other night and we did a combo cook. He makes the best Beef Panang this side of the Pacific Ocean and I make okay BBQ so we decided to combine forces. Started with 6lbs of chicken Wings (on sale for $1.99lb!!) and hit them with the OM-Sri-Mustard seasoning...

    Slammin Hot Smoked Salmon

Thanks, you guys. That sod was laid two weeks ago, been watering it a few times a day to get it firmly rooted. I sort of wish I'd laid some interlock at the base of the deck to walk on and BBQ on, but it would have delayed us even more and I just wanted to get it done and enjoy it this summer.
