    copper 22

I agree Luis, The two copper kettles I have seen new at Target are a dull sort of flat brown almost ugly color. I wish they were the nice shiny mettalic copper I have seen on the Genesis line of gassers that I have seen at Lowe's. If they were I would probab;y have a new a kettle already. I also...

    No. 5 Sauce

Hello gents, First off let me say what a great base sauce recipe you have here... but you already know that. Here is a question for the guys who add onion, garlic, dried fruit, bacon or other solids to the simmer. Do you guys strain out the pulp or do you blend together the ingredients for the...

    Lid Temperature

I thought the difference was less that that, say 5-10 degrees. I think the difference between the top and bottom grate is around 3-5 degrees. The lid temp is supposedly a tad hotter than grate temp.

    Kettle fried chicken

I'm really liking this thread, seems like a great recipe with tons of positive feedback. I love fried chicken (who doesn't right?) and i like the idea of not submerging it in frying oil. Gonna have to do this next weekend...

    SMOKE WOOD BARK

Hello gents I was wondering what the general consensus was around here concerning tree bark? I read on the homepage that it doesn't make a difference whether you leave it on or take it off. I have a recipe by the dueling bubbas that say they always remove bark from smoke wood because of a...

    Santa Maria Grilling

Shaun I have to agree with you on the price lately. I have been seein' em for about $7.99 per lb around here although yesterday I saw them at whole foods for $13.99 lb and about fell out laughing. I actually thought they may have been mismarked as I have never seen them that expensive.

Royal Oak Chef’s Select Hardwood Briquettes

Went to my local Lowe's this morning and they had the Stubb's briqs so I purchased 3 bags simply from the nice reviews here. I never gave them much of a consideration because I'm not too big a fan of thier sauce. Grillin over RO lump tonite but plan to use the Stubb's for a tri-tip smoke...

    Big Green Egg

Wow! That grill doesn't nearly look that big on the website. The pics do a nice job of adding some scale to things, great family shots also. Glad to hear they are "taking care" of you regarding the damage. Good luck with your new one
