I suspect they saw gas grill sales declining as griddle sales were rising. But that is just speculation on my part.

I just purchased the griddle accessory for my Genesis gas grill. I think I might keep,it set up in that mode, then use my kettle for grilling and BBq. OR I will get the Searwood for my smoker and grill.

Where did you get it? I haven’t seen any retailer around here it in stock.

How do you set up your fire for cooking with your rotisserie?

So how do you set up your coals to cook that? Did you use charcoal baskets directly under the bird?

I have cooked on both the WSM and WSK. I was an early adopter of the WSK, bought it when Weber first came out with it back in 2016, at that time it was the Weber Summit Charcoal Grill (WSCG). I sold my WSCG in 2020, not because I wanted to, but Covid lock downs hit me hard (economically), sad...

I like that model. I have thought to myself that If I ever went the offset smoker route, that would be the one I would buy. Is that the 36" or the 42"? Did it come with any of the LSG upgrades for that model?
