    Do you sauce the bark to finish a boston butt? Will the sauce add to the bark? I prefer to pull and eat without sauce on the pulled pork, just add a little apple juice and rub. Just wondered if sauce on the bark offered benefits?

    Chris, thank you for the pro's on the lump coal. I have heard about some of the con's but, please feel free to share the con's. I am a Kingsford fan and have considered the use of lump. Do you still need to add the flavor woods like you do with Kingsford?

    Creole rub on brisket?

    I have agree with Chris, use the creole/cajun seasoning as a base and build from there. I use a store bought creole seasoning and add to it for my turkey injecting.
