    Weber coffee roaster

Ha! I should probably pay more attention. Glad you found your answer and bought the basket. Happy roasting!

    Weber coffee roaster

I took my digital calipers to the basket. It looks like the diameter of the mounting sleeve is 13.91mm (0.5475"). You'll have to do the math yourself to see what square cross-section will fit in that diameter. It is definitely not a snug fit on my weber kettle spit. There is room for a larger...

    Weber coffee roaster

nice! It looks like its working. Getting enough heat? I've been loving roasting coffee with this basket on my OTP. I wrote a blog post about it but we're not supposed to promote (link) to things like that on TVWBB.

    2016 New Weber Products

I predict it's a metal kamado style cooker with gas assist and sear station... I wish it's a metal kamado style cooker with multi-fuel options and built in ATC system.

    Weber coffee roaster

What's great is that you can add a new layer of flavor depending on your charcoal choice. Coconut briquettes for neutral flavor, good lump for a slight smokey note. If it stays subtle, wood smoke can be wonderful in coffee!

    Weber coffee roaster

Well first crack should start between 7-12 minutes (depends on fuel source/setup). I stop before second crack begins so the beans are roasted in total about 16-20 minutes.

    Weber coffee roaster

When Weber introduced the fine mesh rotisserie basket in Europe, they talked about using it for popcorn, fries, and root vegetables... but I saw it as a coffee roaster. I was about to MacGyver together something to roast coffee, but this was cheaper and a bit more professional looking. It's also...

anyone able to compare iQue 110 and Auber

Oooops, somehow I missed the couple posts about the ique 110 a month or so back.. so I guess that helps answer my question. I can see there is a minor issue of using the iQue 110 with pass through grommets since it uses an alligator clip, but I could work around that. Anyone see any other pros...

anyone able to compare iQue 110 and Auber

I'd like to get a simple temp controller for my old 18" WSM. I had been thinking about getting the DigiQ DX but I can't justify the $256. I have been following the occasional chat about the Auber controller and it seems to be the simple, and cheaper, solution I have been looking for. Today...

    European Grills

I didn't even realize that the US grills didn't have the heat shield. Been away too long I guess. I thought that was a new feature on all 2010 models... but now I see. I was just on vacation at my in-laws vacation home and they bought a new 22.5" grill (basically for me to cook for them). I have...

    Charcoal Ring Mods 22"

very nice! My only concern would be trying to keep the temp down. Is that a big deal at all. It just seems like it would make the fire burn hotter... and more efficient.

    Weber toys I made

that cart is fantastic! I think my wife would leave me if I put up a light like that. I won't risk it.

    Stoker Alternative

you could easily add a cheap PID controller to that and have a great system!
