I have seen people fab a thick plate screwed into the firebox and into the broken part.

I have yet to see a non rusty 13 bar grill, except the bnib 2000 I picked up last summer.

Grates are interchangeable, flavor bars, half of them will fit, manifold....I'm not sure

Weber still stocks the 97783, I got a set last year, just installed it on my Genesis V and its a perfect fit!

Never heard of the 900, perhaps a budget version of the 1000? Like those wallmart kettles?

Ive mentionned it many times, before buying China from Amazon, call weber! I get all my parts from them, if you are nice and ask for it, they usually discount parts pretty good, for example, OEM flavor bars run me 45$, new burners 20$! Catch pan holder 4.5$! Most of the small parts are few cents!

I have done the conversion on a s330, previous owner had purchased the full orifice kit, while I had to the replace the full manifold for an lp One for the main burners the side burner orifice worked and made it worked properly.

It's just a porcelain chip, something was probably dropped on it.

We spoke on Facebook Bruce, I'd like to have a very clean one if not new, this one would be my keeper. It's a dirty enamel chip, I'll try to color match it with some high temp paint.

New manifold is about 90$ from Weber, your burners are still under warranty, flavor bars, depends on your date of purchase(5 years). New flavor bars ran me about 25$ from Weber last time.

Weber does not list part number 99250 from later models are cross compatible with older grills. Has anyone tried? The older model drip pan is not discontinued. Trying to perfect restore this genesis V.
