You know you're getting old when...

It's not a cartoon, but once in a while I like to watch Wonder Woman. She looks a lot like DD.

When I was a youngster I used to carry a box of comic books around the neighborhood and traded with my friends. The last batch are still sitting in my closet. My favorites are Wonder Woman (of course he he) and Superman. Then comes Bat Man and next, Tom & Jerry.

I remember most of them. I don’t think some of the would pass muster for kid’s programming today as shown in the past.

Earliest ones I remember,
Fractured fairy tales.
Mr Peabody and the WABAC machine.
Tennessee Tuxedo and his tales.
And all the Jay Ward work! Bullwinkle, Dudley Doright, et al.

Roger Ramjet, Tennessee Tuxedo, GoGo gophers! Lots of really funny stuff on back then, Saturday mornings were hilarious! Bowl of cereal, glass of juice sitting right in front! Life was so simple then!

I'm so glad we had this time together
Just to have a laugh, or sing a song.
Seems we just got started
and before you know it
Comes the time we have
to say, 'So long.'

I don't know about you guys, but I am crying for the good old days
I'm in the process of DVR'ing all of the Carol Burnett episodes, and regretting that I didn't do the same when Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In was shown on one of the cheesy cable channels here a few years ago.
Lucky you!!!!

What a shame you didn't!!!!!
