You can call me Josh Dekubber!

Actually really well since they are, like all Weber Qs, mostly cast aluminum and glass-infused plastic.

The cast iron grates can be replaced with Q200/2000 grates and the aluminized steel charcoal holder can be replaced with a stainless “Grilling Basket.”
Jon, I think Josh was talking about the Weber fireplace. What do you know about those things?

I currently have it running on propane with the tank concealed inside. This way I can move it around wherever I want it easily. I can plum it up for a natural gas and hook it up to my line in my backyard but then I have to either bury the line and figure out exactly where I want to leave it or have a natural gas line across my yard. Eventually when I redo my backyard I might plan something more permanent.

I don't have a NG line, which is why I ask. It looks very nice, and you can hide a 20lb. tank inside?

I bought it at Wayfair. I've had such good luck buying stuff from them. Customer service is really good. I just checked and it's out of stock right now.

I like Wayfair too. I bought a freestanding tub spout from them a couple years ago for way cheaper than anyone else had them for and it's been fine. Just the other day I put together a really nice electric fireplace for my mother in law that she got from Wayfair. They opened a store not too far from me that my wife wants to go visit, not that I'm going to go with her.

Now you tell me. I probably had enough of those blocks to build one of those after ripping out the previous home owners nightmare landscaping. It never crossed my mind to use them to build a fire pit. I can't tell you how long it took me to throw them out in the trash one or two a week, 😂
I have a 30" ring of 304SS that I use for a fire ring. Very low maintenance. It is quite heavy, but if I tip it on its side, I can move it around to wherever I want it too.

Get that !!!! I had one and used it all the time. I put a charcoal grate in the bottom of mine that the wood sat on when burning. I also had the Weber cover for it.
If I knew for sure I could sell it for $300 I would grab. It's over an hour drive from me

Josh, I think that is the one you pointed out earlier and I asked them about shipping and got no reply. Over an hours drive is a distance but it is a good price for a new in the box one. I'd still be interested in it if you get it and would be willing to ship. Although probably not at $300.

If it wasn't so far I would be happy to help you out. Traffic is terrible between here and there. Somewhere between 2 and 4 hours total round trip.

Just finished this baby Q 1000 for my sister in-law. It started off a basic 1000 that I got for free six days ago.

I did a Q regulator delete,
Added a fuel gage,
Added tables,
Added temperature gage and custom bezel,
Repainted black exterior Cookbox. Cleaned inside and out back to new condition
