Yakitori Chicken

After seeing a picture of Yakitori Chicken on a recent thread I did some research and thought this cook would be a good first cook on my Smokey Joe which I got for Christmas.

The sauce included Sake Wine, Soy Sauce, Mirin, Honey, Ginger and Garlic. Here the chicken thighs and the sauce are getting to know each other:

Served the chicken over brown rice with Sweet Chili Sauce, Roasted Sesame Seeds and Cilantro.

Looks so very yummy. Where did you get those skewers - they are awesome. I thought at first that those were lathe turning tools :)

Brett, I think I purchased those skewers second hand, they work pretty well for me I don't think there is a reason to put kabobs on a grill grate.
