Friday night dinner consists of wings, marinated in Wickers and seasoned with Montreal Chicken
Seasoning and a little Garlic Pepper. Kielbasa, corn on the cob and rings will finish out tonight’s menu.

The cob was coated with EEOO and seasoned with Garlic Pepper and Penzeys 4S.

Wings and cob put onto the Performer, using RO lump and 1 chunk of oak.

Wings were sauced with a spicy sauce that a friend of my wife who lives in Texas sent her.
It is called Rudy’s Bar BQ Sause.

Wings and corn are done.

Kielbasa put onto the Performer.

Kielbasa is done.

Here’s your plate!

Delicious and easy Friday night dinner with very few leftovers! This also gave me the opportunity
to try out my new 40mm Nikkor Micro lens. I definitely believe that I am going to enjoy this lens!

Thanks for looking!

Maribel wants to know if you mind sharing your onion ring recipe???

Awesome job on the wings, rings and other good things, Mike! I have the same 40mm micro that I use on my d90. I really like the lens. Your photos look fantastic! Looking forward to many more pics from your new lens!!

Sure Tony and Maribel. My wife actually makes them, but we buy this mix and cook
the onions in our deep fryer. It really takes all the hassle out of making your own batter
and taste great. Since it is a McCormick product hopefully you can get it in California. In
our stores it is located in the Produce section by the onions.

Thanks Ed! This lens matches well with my D7000. I just got it tonight so hopefully this weekend I will be able to get out
and get some good shots with it. I also have the 35mm and 50mm primes so my wife may inherit the 35mm for her D3100.
Since most of my BBQ shots are between 30mm and 38mm I felt the 40mm would be the right ticket for me.

Terrific cookin' Mike!
I noticed you have no EETIN' utensils near your plated dinner...

no problem, I mean, if you're not intending to use a fork or a knife to eet this dinner, I was only making an observation.

It might seem ODD to others that there are no EETIN' utensils available for use, butt again, That's YOUR call since you DID cook this dinner and everyone KNOWS you should be able to EET it ANYWAY you feel fit! Even if it does NOT include EETIN' utensils.

I just can not REMEMBER the last time I saw a plated dinner without EETIN' utensils by the side of the plated dinner. Perhaps that is just the procedure I've become accustomed to.... having EETIN' utensils near the plated dinner.

Mike, REALLY! The sausage and the chicken and the corn with the rings look OUTSTANDING!
I'm only givin' ya SHIRT! ;)
