Where can I buy a cover for my 18.5?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 2014 WSM 18.5 and I want to know where I can get a cover that fits? I'm finding a hard time locating one online by Weber. Please help! Links would be awesome too!

I just bought my 2014 WSM 18.5 on 5/23, it included the cover. On one side of the box, you should see a pic of the included cover. Did you buy one that was already assembled?
 
If you're comparing the light gray, economy grade Weber cover, then yes those aren't very good.
The heavier, black, premium grade cover that came with my WSM seems to be of very good quality.

Agree, I think the quality is good.
 
I got my 18.5" last week from Amazon and the cover was at the very bottom of the box. I had to cut the elastic straps on it though for it to fit over the WSM. It's still a tight fit, but it's on.
 
Yep, it's found at the bottom of the box, as shown in the WSM Unboxed article. If you didn't find one there, call Weber at 800-446-1071 for a replacement.

I've had personal experience with both the economy grade and premium grade.
I also have Sunbrella stuff for the boat.
The Weber premium grade meets my expectations for a grill/smoker cover.

My 18.5 WSM cover cover is circa '99 so perhaps the fabric has been changed since then ?

I had a Weber premium grade cover that only lasted 3 years. Based on comments on TVWBB, I purchased the Veranda cover a month ago for $30.00 on Amazon. Also a cover for my Weber 22.5 Kettle for $19.00.

What a difference between the two covers. The Veranda is heavier material, has two padded handles, air vents, interlocking seams, and a large zippered front pocket, along with four straps with clips that can attach around the legs.
I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up. But 2,630 out of 2,960 reviewers on Amazon gave it a 4 or 5 star rating. Only 2% gave it a 1 start rating.

The weber Genesis premium grill cover costs $44.00 on Amazon. 10% of the reviewers gave it a 1 star rating.

Mine fits a little snug, too, but I didn't need to cut the elastic. Thankfully, I've got an enclosed 3-season room on the back of the house ( aka: "sunroom" or "Florida room") and the WSM has a small enough footprint and I've added wheels, so I can just roll it inside when not in use. The cover is more to keep curious cats from messing with it.
