Weber Propane tank cover alternative

I heard back from the printer and will be getting a dozen of the magnets to match (as close as I could) the original early Weber gas tank label:

LP Gas Sticker REPRO VER 2 FINAL.jpg

I am going to ask $9.00 each, plus postage, which is a very small mark-up from what I will be paying to cover my time and having to go get them.

I am also going to pursue making a more modern version in color on a black background.

Sounds great Jon!

Hey John, if you have any left after you and Josh get what you need, I'd like to buy one or two, also.

What size are you having them made?

The one I posted the picture of is about 6 1/2" X 2 1/2"

I was trying to get close as I could to the size of the original based only on a couple of grainy old pictures.

When I do the "modern" one in color (please be patient, it is tax season), I am thinking a larger size. What do you guys think?

I do like the size of the sticker magnets I made at 10"x4.1"but I think ultimately it should be up to you.

That sounds like a good size, Josh. For the "original" one I was going for historically accurate (as much as possible), but for the "modern" one I think it should stand out more. The one you posted looked really good, so when I get my draft done, I will ask them to quote it at that size. It will be more, of course, but hopefully still less than buying the decal and then mounting it on the magnetic applique.

I also will try to do a couple versions and let everyone see what they think before choosing one to have made.

I ordered 6 more styles of Weber LP tank stickers to try out. 2 of each. Hopefully they turn out good. I didn't want to order that many but I couldn't narrow it down any more from the ones I created just messin around.

No point in me making any new designs; you have it nailed! Love them. Will you actually make the Skyline version with the crossed bats and Sox logo? I would love to buy one from you for the grill I am doing for my wife’s cousin. The inside of his house literally looks like the guy’s apartment in the movie Fever Pitch! Just White Sox instead of Red Sox.

I would also be interested in the one in black with the old Weber letters and colorful gas logo.

You are amazing, Josh!
