Vortex Question?

When purchasing a vortex is it necessary to buy from vortex's chosen list of suppliers? Where have vortex owners purchased their vortex from? Members please share your thoughts. Thank You.

Hi Paul. I have to think that manufacturers praise folks like yourself whom seek knowledgeable information regarding credible sources. Your question reminds me of an article from some other BBQ vendor who spoke to the threats of copycat cheaters; if memory serves, that article/interview came from the inventor and owner of the Slow 'N Sear accessory.

If you navigate to the official Vortex site, here https://vortexbbq.com/, you will see their warning, which I attached below. I have three different sizes of the Vortex and I purchased all of them from Owens BBQ (https://www.owensbbq.com/vortex.html). If I'm not mistaken, Marty owns Owens and is an active member here. Others may correct me, or confirm this detail.
