Congratulations, Chris! That recipe certainly inspired me. I'm going to cook my first prime rib this year for Christmas. I've got a 3 bone roast on order from the butcher.

I've never done prime rib in a smoker OR a kettle before, the 1st time I made it was done the usual boring in the oven way.
So, my plan is to tackle this on the last day of this year.
