Tri Tip Sandwich and Beef Barley Soup

Yes another soup and sandwich night at our house.

Tri Tip seasoned with some seasoning called Char. A friend at work gave me some to try and he doesn't know much about the stuff either. Added a chunk of peach wood for smoke on this cook


Rested and sliced


Toasted a bollio roll and added a little Weber's Kick'n Spicy BBQ sauce. Also made a pot of Beef Barley soup which turned out really good.

John, that char seasoning sure did make a nice crust. Would like to try it if you can find out who makes it & where to buy it.

Very nice combination and the Tri Tip looks great. I make beef barley soup a lot in the winter will have to try it with a Tri Tip sammie.
