Too Hot To Cook Inside

Again too hot to cook inside. So it was a big three pound meatloaf smoked on the Camp Chef, a couple of bakers on the E320 gasser and some steamed broccoli and carrots for the side.

Barb made the meatloaf using one pound each of ground chuck, ground turkey and ground pork shoulder, and anything edible in the fridge. Also a liberal (can I say that?) coating of Stubbs Sweet Honey and Spice BBQ sauce.
Also numerous bastings of the sauce during the cook.

Used my go to pellets, Pit Boss Competition Blend. Did a 165 low temp high smoke setting for about 25 minutes, then up to 350 until it hit 160.
Meatloaf was outstanding great taste with a hint of smoke and very moist.

Looking forward to a meatloaf sandwich for lunch today.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

That looks like a great meatloaf and meal! Never tried smoking meatloaf. Usually in a loafpan with ketchup on top. Either in the oven or using the Genesis as an oven.

Looks great! Too hot to cook indoors, too smoky to cook outdoors. Can't win here!
