I was getting lunch one day and the total was $10.25 or something like that
I had just hit the ATM and only had 20's
I handed the young lady a 20, then remembered that I had some coins in my pocket and asked her to wait. Needless to say, she hit the $20 button and started freaking the heck out because she couldn't do the math!
I tried to tell her to just give me $10 back, but she wasn't trusting me, LOL! She had to call the manager over to confirm that I was telling her the truth!
I also had a customer that would count the change back to HER customers. When I commented that that was a long lost habit, she said that that's how she learned way back when and just kept it up
Oh, and just wait until the bill totals $12.67 and you give the cashier a ten, a five, a dime, and 7 pennies . . .
I've actually has cashiers ask me how I figured it out so that I the 2 quarters back instead of a bunch nonsense change.
