The Humor Thread


 
Yankee screwdriver. I still have a small and large one in the garage. i do not remember the last time I used it. got my first cordless drill in 1976. I know it was a Makita and best I remember 9 volts.

I didn't collect a lot when I was a kid, but had a few, a mix of baseball, basketball, and football cards, in a shoebox. One time, while home from college for the holidays, I was looking at them when a contractor working on something in my parents' house saw me. He was a collector and offered me cash (I can't remember how much, but for a poor college kid, it was a decent chunk of change) for the box without even looking at what was inside. I said yes and happily took his cash.

A few months later, I was talking with a friend about the time when I was little and I went to an Indiana Pacer's game, and my dad took me down to the lower part of the stands with my Oscar Robertson card to see said Mr. Robertson who was also watching the game, and get his "Big O" autograph on the card...

Yeah, that was in the shoebox.
