The Good Ol' Days Are Back!

Tuesday, grilled up some good ol' grub on the Weber.
Started with spuds.

Grabbed a large sweet onion and blossomed the dang thing then laid bacon 'cross it.

Got a sirloin steak EVOO'd and seasoned it with a tri tip rub.

Time to slap that big ol' steak on the high heat grill.

With the beef sizzlin' away, 'shrooms were added to the cooktop 'bout the same time.

Sides look done enough to remove from heat.

Served a completely grilled dinner to two ol' hungry souls: me + liz :D

looking good- I like how you tether the onion down with bacon straps to keep it from jumping out of the pan - Excellent technique!!!!
 
Jim that is one bad @$$ looking plate! Thanks for sharing the pics now how about a plate for good ole Gene! ;) If we were neighbors you'd have to beat me with a stick like you'd beat a rabid dog to stay away :) Man that looks great!
