You can get the files off of thingverse and have them printed. There are places online that will do it for a nominal fee if you don't have a printer, and most public libraries do it as well for a feeIs anyone selling these? Looks like they're sold out on the HeaterMeter store. My Roto Damper 3 had a good run (7 years) but it just broke. So now I have a Delta fan and an MG90S servo looking for a home.
As someone who has not been keeping up on the status, I don’t want to attempt to answer all of your questions. But, I will say that I am still using mine and I am not sure the heatermeter needs any updates. I believe everything you need is open source and available. Just build it.I'm guessing the project is dead? HeaterMeter website doesn't seem to exist but I can find the files in github. No posts here for a couple of months.?
Is the software still being kept up?
I would like an aluminum version as well.. But I don't have access to the resources needed for it... Are you willing to sell one? ;-)Thanks for your contribution WBegg. Still using the aluma-damper weekly. Built another one as a backup (maybe a secondary BGE in the future) as well.
I know you've stated that you are no longer supporting the Adapt-a-Damper, but did you ever finish your version with an integrated keystone? What about a 1" NPT adapter for the V3? If not, would you be willing to share your design files so I could make the modifications myself?I'll soon be working on a version with an integrated keystone into the design to be printed, much like the original adapt-a-damper.
Hey, I did not finish the integrated version, but a more than happy to share the design files. I put the Fusion 360 files in the Damper V3 Thingiverse link here ... 12V Delta 15 CFM fan part # BFB0712HHI am using my Heatermeter to cook a 23lb bird using the Adapta-a-damper with the 6cfm fan and as my previous experiences, it is hard to keep the 22" WSM above 325º with that fan. I keep telling myself I am going to print the larger 15CFM fan for next Thanksgiving and end up getting too busy so while that thought is fresh in my mind, I am going to crank up the printer today and print the files off for either the 15CFM version of the Adapt-a-damper or the Damper V3. Does anyone have a link to the 15CFM fans and the servos that either of those designs work with?
Thanks!! Does the Damper V3 use the 6cfm or the 15cfm? The Turkey day cook turned out fantastic using the Adapt-A-Damper12V Delta 15 CFM fan part # BFB0712HH
Servo is MG90 or MG90S (TowerPro)
