TGIF HH Brisket flat

Friday finally got here, so it was time to celebrate...how else but throwin' something on the WSM? And it just so happened I had rescued a lonely 8lb flat from the local Sam's just the other day. A little oak, a little hickory, some BBBR liberally applied here and there, and viola - magic happened. And strangely enough, my son and daughter-in-law just happened to bring the grandson by to visit right as WSM was finishing up its transformative powers...

This cow did not die in vain...


With some seasoned green beans, a few fried potatoes, and a dab of No. 5
