We saw these tatonka dogs and wanted to give them a try. Tried one for lunch, they are pretty guud.

Tonights menu: baked beans in the CI & some Tatonka dogs in a bed.
First off is the bacon & onions for the beans.

The rest of the ingredients for the beans & dogs.

The beans are on & simmering, while Deb puts the dogs to bed.

Dogs are done & in the rotten egg.

Baked at around 325-350 for 35 -40 mins. Things take longer up here in the higher elevation.

Here is your plate. They came out great.

We don't eat hot dogs much. And these were real guud & flavorful. Next time will give them a try on a bun.
Thanks for looking at our cookin'. Have a great weekend.

I'm very picky about Hotdogs, my go to is Casper's Hotdogs. However......those Nebraska Bison Hotdogs look mighty tasty. Excellent job and the beans and dogs Russ!!

Question: Are you drinking a rose wine? That's gonna come outta your man card pal.... :)

Nothing wrong with a good Rose. But I think I'd have paired a Tempranillo with that meal.

Those dogs look great. How did you make the 'bed'?

Looks pretty good Russ, never had bison. We do HDs only every once in a while little to salty for me. About the wine Russ... never mind I won't go there.
